Plain Brown Poppers Review

Plain Brown Poppers, also known as Original Brown Bottle Poppers or even Private Reserve poppers, this one goes back to the beginning – the age of disco – and it’s still a winner.

There are so many great things about this one that it’s hard to know where to start.  First, let’s start with packaging/branding.   There is none!  That’s what’s cool about it – just a little brown bottle with a black screw cap, very discreet but for those in know, it jumps out at you from across the room.   Next is the aroma – it actually has a bit of a fruity aroma but not overly sweet.  I hate poppers that just smell like chemicals and this one doesn’t give that off at all.    Finally, and most important is the effect – this one will rock your world!   It has a very powerful effect that is absolutely fantastic.  There are rumors that it contains amyl, but in all likelihood this is false.  Whatever it does contain is good ju ju though and we’ll be stocking up on it.

Ok, #1 – cheap as all get out.  Seriously, just $5 or 2 for $9!  That’s amazing!   Damn – buy a case of this stuff at that price.  Anyway, this is actually really good stuff although doesn’t have the duration of some of the others we’ve reviewed so far.  We’re talking maybe 3 minutes or so.  However, from the group of people that have tried it, there weren’t any that complained of nasty headaches or any of the other negatives that you can get from poppers.  As an aside, the makers of this stuff have actually been making “liquid aromas” for over 30 years in Europe, so they’ve had some time to perfect their formulas.  These guys are also the makers of “English”, “Hit”, “Hard Core” and “Purple Haze” to name a few.

Another plus with Liquid Gold poppers is it’s consistency.  Ever get a popper and it just wasn’t the same as last time and it’s exactly the same brand?  Yeah – some brands have consistency issues.  This one does not – it’s the same high quality each and every time and at a dirt cheap price.  That’s why it’s so popular and highly sought.  What were we thinking in not trying this one before now?

PWD has just released a Brand New liquid aroma called IGNITE!   In true PWD fashion, this one does not disappoint.   Packaged in a sleek racing grey and red bottle, complete with flames, just the anticipation of what’s inside is almost enough… almost.

Ignite Poppers from PWD pack a serious punch, along the lines of Hardware and Quicksilver.  They also have a nice, not completely overpowering aroma, and a decent duration to them.  We didn’t find any bad after-effects from Ignite poppers either, so that’s another plus.   We definitely recommend checking this one out!

Quicksilver Poppers Review

Quicksilver Poppers, made by the folks at PWD who also make Rush Poppers, Hardware, Bolt, Ram and others, have been on the market for a very long time.  Originally formulated in 1979, Quicksilver is considered to be a faster and more intense aroma with a “special fragrance” and special effect.  It has sold millions of bottles around the world and continues to be a favorite of many so we figured it was time for a try and a Quicksilver poppers review.

Well, the bottle is sure appealing, blue being my favorite color and all.  And the name is cool too although I’m not sure who had it first, PWD or the surfwear company.  I see a lawsuit there somewhere.   Regardless, these are PWD brand poppers so they are well packaged and have the trademarked PPP – Power-Pak Pellet for freshness.

Quicksilver has a very smooth aroma and effect.  It comes on fast, ie “quick” and really does have an intense feel to it as they say.  The aroma isn’t overly sweet and the duration of the effect is about average, maybe five minutes tops.  Quicksilver poppers are consistent in their effect as far as we’ve been able to determine from our “testing” so that’s a big plus as well.

Lol – who writes this shit?  Good poppers or not, that’s some cheesy stuff.   Ok, moving beyond all of that.  The packaging is cool – the horse and the orange and brown are a nice combo.  It actually looks like a little bottle of aftershave or cologne and doesn’t scream “poppers” if you had it sitting out.    As for the liquid aroma itself, it’s actually very good.  It’s extremely potent, comes on pretty quick and has a nice duration to it.  We didn’t have any of the headache effect or anything like that with Iron Horse poppers and it give a killer rush.  Definitely one worth repeating or trying out if you haven’t done so yet.
